This program provides for the professional training or college education of mostly, but not exclusively, sponsored children. Many of the young individuals being helped would not have had access to the trainings that they are presently undergoing. KHW also helps towards preparation for competitive examinations for access to a variety of professional courses and careers,

Today cost of quality professional training is very high. KHW-India invites corporates, professional training institutions, individuals and governments to partner in this initiative.

One day my father heard about KHW and approached them. Very soon with their support I started going to school. My life was no longer limited to picking rags and collecting firewood. I started to learn new things and to read and write and made new friends. Since then my story has been of a slow and steady progress. A lot of hard work. I am living my dream by pursuing a Bachelor's in Dental Studies from a premiere Dental Institute in India . It would not have been possible for my parents to pay for my further education with their modest earnings. I consider myself lucky to be able to pursue my education further as I know many girls like myself do not get this opportunity to further their education. Many friends even dropped out of school to work in order to sustain their families.
